The Stonge henge, the 85 mysterious huge stones located in Wiltshire, England. Some of these stones weigh as heavy as 40 tons. Archealogist believe that these stones has been there since the 2500BC.
Some claim that this site of the stonehenge is for ritual sacrifice. Others claim that it was a sacred site for the burial of high-ranking citizens from the societies of long ago. Recent excavations of locations near the stone reveals human bones, deer antlers and items suggesting that the site is a centre of healing.
On a side note, I have the stone henge as my desktop wallpaper, it's one of the background provided by windows xp.
